-Dry cat food is the main staple for a hedgehog. Hedgehogs also need extra protein, so they should be fed mealworms (or other insects) or lean cooked meats like chicken or turkey.
-Hedgehogs can also be fed many types of raw fruits and vegetables as well as applesauce and corn on the cob but we do not recommend lettuce, nuts, grapes, or citrus fruits.
- How much should you feed a hedgehog?
-Hedgehogs can be free fed dry cat food and will eat approximately one tablespoon of food twice a day. They also need a small quantity of protein each day in addition to the cat food.

-The average is 3-6 years.

- There is one known genetic disease called " Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome." If your hedgehog would contract this rare disease in the first year, a full refund or replacement would be warranted.
